Dandelion Seeds asked...
"What time is the appt. and how long is all of it going to take?
Praying for your strength,
Amy"
Thanks so much Amy for asking, I did answer this question for you on the forum and your blog. However, I wanted to post the information here too for anyone else who would like to know. Emily has 2 scans scheduled for tomorrow (March 27th) and our appointment is at 3:00 pm central time. The first one is 15 minutes long and the second one will be 30 minutes long.
Thanks so much EVERYone for continuing to pray for Emily and our family!! Please pray that Emily's tumor is operable and that the surgeon will be able to safely remove all of it.

Here are a "few" pictures from Emily's stay in the hospital. I didn't take any the first two days (I lost our camera). These pictures are from Thursday and Friday (I think). Thanks Mom and Dad for letting us borrow your camera!

Emily right before I gave her her first sponge bath...

...and after. They have this really neat shampoo that I just rub in her hair with water and comb out.

Here is Scott helping Emily drink her juice with the yucky calcium medicine. She was still a little too weak to hold her own drink.

My cousin Missy and her huband Don came to visit Emily in the hospital. Missy was also there with us while we waited for Emily during surgery.

Here is Scott helping Emily plug herself back into her monitor and IV. She soon became a pro at doing this herself.

Frank and Emily watching one of the BBC Narnia movies (that Uncle Henry and Aunt Corey bought for Emily) together. They missed each other SO much and talked everyday on the phone and Frank came up to visit her as much as he could (he was sick during most of Emily's stay at the hospital).

Here are all three of my cuties watching a Narnia movie.

Here is Emily sitting up in a chair with her new strawberry smelling Care Bear from Aunt Georgie. This was a really big deal, her sitting up in chair then that is. Emily had to sit up in a chair for an hour and then go for a little walk up and down the hallway.

Here is Emily starting her walk up and down the hall. This was also very important for her to do. The first 2 days she couldn't even get up to go to the bathroom.

Here is Frank and Emily playing Connect Four.

Here Emily is coloring with Mama Sue (Scott's mom). This is actually right after Emily's big break down.

This is a picture of Emily's scars. The top one is from her biopsy and the bottom is from when they took out her thyroid and about 40 lymph nodes. You can only see part of that scar here.

Emily and her dad, the guy who could not and would not leave her side.

Scott giving her a kiss while she is drinking some water.

Our brave girl.

Emily playing a game her Aunt Katie brought for her to play.

Emily asked me to take these next 3 pictures to show that they took the IV out of her one arm because it was SO sore. She was very happy about that.

YAY!!

BUT..... they just moved it to her hand.

Here is a better close up of Emily's neck. The bandage is covering the holes where the drains were.
I will post more pictures later this week.

My kids just finished watching that BBC series. I watched it when I was a girl. Tell Emily she looks like a princess even in the hospital. Not many people can look as adorable as she does.
