Yesterday Scott called Emily's doctor to see if they had received the test results yet and to find out when Emily would start radiation. They had not gotten Emily's test results at that time and we were told by her doctor that he would like to have Emily do another Iodine Uptake Scan next week to see how much cancer is left. After that he wants to admit her the following week to begin her treatment. Thanks everyone again and again so much for your prayers and support!!
Just for fun...I found these old pictures on a CD today of Emily from when she was 5 years old at her first Ballet Recital. She is wearing a LOT of make up because we were told to put a LOT of make up on them so you can see their faces under the bright lights. I am also hoping that this will entertain my bored little friend today. =o)

Emily and Frank after the recital, Frankie is only 4 years old here, oh my goodness my kids are so cute!!!

I'm looking forward to the scan to see what's happened since the last time they checked her. She looks so beautiful in those pictures, I remember quite well the day they were taken. Thanks for finding them, Crystal.
Beautiful photos and children. I hope the results bring great news.
how cute! continued prayers for this stage of the saga!
OH MY GOSH, they are so cute!! Emily is just beautiful!! She looks so little/young. Thanks for posting the pictures.
We continue to pray for Em everyday. Not just for her, but for everyone in your family.
Love you guys!
Hello Crystal,
I will continue to pray for Emily, I sure hope that you guys get the results back very soon. Those pics are soooooooo cute!!! Reminds me of my big girl when she was in dance. Em and Frankie are both adorable.
The pool is very nice! You do have to be sure that the ground where it is going is very level though, or the water will settle more to one side and bust it, my friend had that happen! My kids are really enjoying it. You just go to the pool supply place and tell them how big it is and they'll tell you what you need. It came with most everything but the chemicals needed. I am sure it would be a great diversion for your kiddos!
Grace and peace be yours in abundance!!
We will continue to pray for Emily and of course, the entire family as you go through this next phase.
The pictures are so beautiful. I know that it must have been a joy to find them. Thanks for sharing.
Blessings,
Christy :)
Scottie ~ I am eager to see what the scan results will say next week too. I want to get those apricot seeds ASAP and get her started on those.
I remember this day very well too. We were so proud of her (still are). We make good kids together. =oD
Lyns ~ Thanks for stopping by Lyn. I left you two comments on your awesome blog. =o)
Sammy ~ THANKS!!!
Adrienne ~ Thanks for praying and for the info on the pool. I really hope we can get one this summer. I know the kids and I will have SOOO much fun with a pool.
Christy ~ Thanks so much for keeping Emily in your prayers!!
We will definately continue to pray for Emily and for your family.
My daughter (oldest) did ballet when she was 2 until 6 then she switched to praise and worship dance. We have some of those "makeup" pictures somewhere. Your children are beautiful.
Blessings!~Margie
Amie and my 3 yr old do ballet. They both love it. I'll have to show her Emily's pictures. I know she'll like having something in common with her (in addition to loving cats)

Hi Margie ~ Wow 2 years old! Emily started when she was 4 and has done it every year up until now. We didn't sign her up for the last 2 sessions because we wanted to switch to a better dance studio. We were just going to the local recreation center. We were too late for signing up because they only take 9 students at a time. Then Emily was diagnosed with Cancer and things were to busy and hectic to think about ballet. Plus the cost was too much. We are hoping that after her treatments are over we will be able to sign her up again. She really loves it. Thank you for keeping Em in your prayers!!!
Julie ~ Tell Amie hi from me and Emily and we are all so grateful for her prayers!
SO cute! Your children are adorable.
AWWWW....shucks...thanks Valerie!!
I love those pictures! I remember them, I didn't go tot the recita but I remember that week and you getting ready for it and being excited! How fun! It's nuts how fast time goes by! Thanks for the post! =)
(So what are the dates of Emilys treatments, do you know?)
Thanks Steph! I love these pictures too. I didn't know I had them on CD so it was fun to find them and be able to post them since I don't have a scanner anymore.
I don't know exactly which day Emily will start treatments but I have a pretty good idea. I will let you know though.
Let me know when we can hang out next? Are we still having small group tomorrow?
They sure are cute!!!
I made a new post on my blog spot finally.
oh wow! I love to know exactly how what I produce makes people feel, good or bad. Thanks.
I love the last picture by the way!
You guys DO make cute kids!
That first picture is almost too sweet-tell Emily to tone it down!
...Been away but still checking in to say my prayers continue for Emily.
We'll have to check sometime to see how far down the line our last names (Kunze) cross.
His Peace!
